Today’s giveaway is from me, Scarlet of Huckleberry Knits. I started dyeing yarn in 2006, and earlier this year, I quit my job to dye full-time. It’s so much nicer to earn a living doing something that I enjoy!
I’m giving away a skein of my Cascara sportweight yarn. This is a blend of 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon, presented in a 4 oz skein measuring approximately 250 yards. The colorway is named Larrabee, a lively combination of turquoise, icy blues, black, and violet.
To enter, tell me your favorite Christmas song. To qualify, you cannot choose Carol of the Bells. π A winner will be drawn from all comments posted in the next 24 hours. Please include your name and a valid email address so we can contact you if you win!
Silent Night π So calming and beautiful!
My favorite Christmas carol … I’m loving straight no chaser’s 12 days of christmas at the moment!
I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Christmas Canon.
Little drummer boy! And if I don’t win that yarn, I am going to have to buy some. Beautiful!
O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas carol π
Congratulations, Stephanie! You’re the winner. π
Its so hard to pick. I LOVE Christmas music. Winter wonderland, Let it Snow and Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas are a must on any Christmas music list. What really gets me in the holiday spirit is listening to the music from the Nutcracker, though. I could (and do) listen to that all year long!
Since I was a child it has been Away in a Manger. I’ve always loved it. It brings tears to my eyes, as it did when I was a kid. LOVE it. And I love that yarn. Beautiful.
Since I was a child, it has been Away in a Manger. It still brings tears to my eyes, just as it did when I was a kid! And that yarn is just beautiful.
Ha, I was going to choose Carol of the Bells because it is my favorite song. I also love Little Drummer Boy, and Minuit Chretien (Silent Night) in French, because it reminds me of my grandfather, he used to sing it every Christmas.
Silent night…my mom sang it to me when I was a baby because it was the only song she knew all the words too.
Jingle Bells π
I always get excited to hear “Christmas Don’t Be Late” by the Chipmunks. π I also love Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas”.
Away in a Manger sung by my son Aidan with his classmates, I get all teary eyed every year at his Christmas concert.
White Christmas.
I think O, Holy Night is the most beautiful Christmas Carol. I love many, many Christmas songs, but I’m sticking with this one.
We wish you a merry Christmas has always been my favorite. The kids and I sing it in the car at the top of our lungs, lol!
Do You Hear What I Hear. It’s my all time favorite, but lets face it there are way to many to pick just one!
Ok, I confess. I really love Feliz Navidad. I really do.
I’ve always loved “Santa Baby” By Eartha Kitt. Although I pretty much love every Christmas song.
Eva Maria sung by John berry. And the little drummer boy sung by Bing Crosby and David Bowie
I have always loved What Child Is This. The melody is so beautiful and peaceful.
I love Oh Holy Night and Hark the Harald Angels. I also love White Christmas sung by Bing Crosby.

I have to say O Holy Night.
I love “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” – I was almost an adult when I truly paid attention to the words. I remember tears forming when they got to ‘remember Christ our Saviour was born on Christmas Day’.
I have always loved Jingle Bell Rock ever since I learned it as a kid on the piano.
Hmmmm….Silver Bells is good. But then again so is O Tannenbaum. And of course just about anything from the Carpenters Christmas Portrait Album. So hard to choose–but I’ll say the Winter Wonderland – Silver Bells – White Christmas compilation performed by The Carpenters so I can cover several!

Gorgeous shade BTW! Thanks for the chance to win.
As non-religious as I am, I adore Oh, Holy Night

I love The Huron Carol
My favorite is probably White Christmas, although there are a bunch of great ones!
I would have to say Silver Bells.
‘Mary Did You Know’ — sung by Kathy Matea
‘Jingle Bells’ is what my son called Christmas trees the first year he was speaking at Christmas.
‘The little Drummer Boy’ will always be associated with pictures by Ezra Jack Keats because it was my daughter’s favorite book for quite a while.
Anyone else remember the Christmas albums put out by Goodyear in the late 60s? So many classics on those albums.
